From January 11, 2021, the “tightened shutdown” will be extended to January 31, 2021. Our day care center is officially closed. We temporarily open the day care center for emergency care. The team is partly on site or works from home. Parents will be exempt from childcare and food costs in January 2021.

We know that it demands a lot from families to continue to have to forego on a regular childcare! We are entirely with you. Nonetheless, the closure of regular operations remains necessary and has been clearly formulated by our state government.

Like all other daycare centers in Kiel and throughout the state of SH, our daycare center has been given the task of regulating emergency care to a large extent. That means that we only can make this offer accessible under certain conditions.

The first and most decisive point that must be met is that the family (two-parent families or one-parent families) has no alternative care available for their child or children. If this point is fulfilled, then there is an entitlement to emergency care if at least one parent is active in a systemically relevant area in two-parent families or, in one-parent families, a job is carried out.

Please bear with us that we are obliged to examine your concerns and, if necessary, also ask related questions. It is important to us that you know that it is not our intention to strain our previous contractual and trusting relationship. We have to do that. The examination or even rejection of a respective request is our current duty for the benefit of the community and society.
